Dr. Chris, this conversation was so eye opening for me. I heard the replay from the last St. Maryโ€™s Zoom meeting. THAT conversation sparked a curiosity and openness to discover where I could ask others for forgiveness. For me, this podcast conversation is in some ways is in the same vein. I am personally left praying: God, work in my sins ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ As I prayed I saw in my imagination an image of God as a heart surgeon. He has specialized instruments for the heart. Iโ€™m going to lean in to this inquiry and invite the Holy Spirit to make me aware of what I canโ€™t see. I am praying for you Dr. Chris ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ Blessings to you and your family โค๏ธ

Your discussion about sin with David... been thinking about it since Fri. Not with shame but in view of โ€œFather forgive them.โ€ I think in terms of individual sin but this caused me to think of it at a people.... our violence, racism, greed, adultery, and desire for what others have. Heard someone repeat the saying โ€œGrace supplies what the law requires.โ€ The whole purpose is to free us from this slavery. Beautiful and thanks for this.
