This was a fascinating discussion. The discussion on Jesus as the One who synthesizes all the disparate and incomprehensible things of creation was opened up a lot for me. Also particularly resonant was the idea that there's nothing Maximus or Eriugena or Gregory or any theologian, ancient or modern, can earnestly propose that is more provocative than what is already in the New Testament.
