Jesus, the indescribable gift of God, saves us from the cause/effect order of sacrifice, which doomed both Cain and Abel, delivering us into lives of perfectly mutual love and Abrahamic hospitality.
Thankyou! I am very interested in dialogue as an embodied practice of peace. So my ears pricked up when you were talking about, “Eucharist is our lives” and the giving (offering) and receiving of gift. Genuine dialogue is a pattern of giving and receiving. Simultaneously courageous and humble - in which we find and offer our own voice (giving) and make space for receiving the voice of others. This is what happens in a Talking(Listening) circle. The space in the middle is full of grace.
What you are saying about Jesus' sacrifice sounds very close to Rafael Avila's treatment of Jesus' Passion connected to the Passover. See his Worship and Politics.

Great discussion. I'm grateful to be at the table.
