Absolutely stunning: Stunning In goodness, love, beauty, honesty. hell, heaven, patience, kindness, coming, going, making and keeping room, and everything else that is endlessly "beyond" our comprehension yet is always coming in our Lord Jesus. He is beyond stunning. And you guys did him proud in your humble, transparent, sharing of your wonder in him today. Thank you.

Thank you for those kind words. I am part of the Hebrews class and feel the same way about all of you. May God keep pouring out grace for us to love Him out loud. Bless you!

Thank you all so much. I absolutely love these podcasts and look forward to them each week. I appreciate your honesty, depth of study and vulnerability that each of you bring to the table. I’ve experienced a lot of freedom listening not only to these but to other teachings and discussions by Dr Chris and others. This weeks podcast healed some things in me as it relates to hell..as I too grew up in a Pentecostal holiness church, and was terrified by the teachings of sin and hell. My prayer is that you know just how much you are needed in the Body of Christ and how much you’ve helped me each week. Thank you.

Wow! Healing! That’s the “good news.” Thank you for sharing. Much our experience with “hell” teaching created a hell that is void of any refining, void of “fullers soap.” Thank you for sharing this experience of redemption and joy. How amazing that Love Himself enters our lowest and raises us to new life and new thought! Thanking for going on this ADVENT-ure with us.

Be blessed.

As Chris pointed out, Joseph practiced righteousness. Specifically the, “do justice . . . and love mercy!”, kinda righteousness. Indeed, Joseph did so with Mary by not wanting to “put her to disgrace” as pointed out—thus highlighting the reality that just as Mary had been pregnant with Jesus, Jesus would likewise become increasingly pregnant with his righteous father, so to speak. Thus, the righteousness of Joseph within Jesus “grew in wisdom and years” as Luke’s Gospel states. That in being fully embodied in the God-man Christ, love might finally even triumph over justice... So that, “God may be all in all” when all is said and done mercifully. Amen.

The version I mentioned was the 2019 BBC version. It can be found on Amazon Prime. It’s actually a 9 part mini series now condensed into a long 173 min movie.
