I'll be hosting a special class next week (July 19th, 6-9CST) via Zoom discussing the theology of death and dying in the light of the mystery of Christ.
In addition to meditation on the Stations of the Cross, and Paul’s reflections on death in 2 Corinthians, these are some of the theological and pastoral questions we'll be considering:
How are we to speak of or feel about death, if the Gospel is true?
Why, if God is the God of life, do we live in a world sustained by deaths?
What are we to believe about those who have died?
How are we to care for the dying, the bereaved?
How do we prepare to die well?
Here’s the link to sign up. Join us if you can, and share the word.
Hi Chris
Thanks for this.
Will it be recorded, as I reside in Australia?
Also is the US$55 for the session or ‘course’. Ie is it a one-off session costing US$55 ?
Thanks for any information.
Marg
Hi Chris,
Also wondering along with Marg if it will be recorded. I may be interrupted during the three hours and would love the opportunity to catch it all later if possible.
