No new podcast recordings during Lent (I didn’t plan it this way exactly, but I’ve realized it’s a necessary choice). So instead I’ll occasionally share links to sermons, lectures, or conversations.
This year, I’ve been leading a series for our Sunday evening Bible Study at St Mary’s, discussing how being children of God matters for our natural—“flesh and blood”—relationships. In the third conversation, we talked specifically about the Holy Family and its prophetic significance for us.
BTW: this is the piece that I tried to share but couldn’t find during the talk.
Found this very helpful as a husband (41 years) and a grandfather in looking to Jesus to love my family as persons and not as fulfilling a role…. This feels very freeing. The LGBQ community was in my mind as I was listening and thinking of each with personhood. Do you think this conversation speaks to this as well?
