A. During Systematic Theology II discussed the Sacraments and ( truthfully was being an ungrateful student ) rushingly listened along as I was already “ familiar “ until it dawned upon me 🙄😳 #GraciasHolySpirit the only reason I had any context of the topic was ascribed to my Roman Catholic upbringing 🤯, yet learning of it in STII helped me recognize ( and become convicted ) they are essential to the Christ-Faith, not simply Catholicism…something about that reality minimized in many churches whimpers my heart 😨🥺😔
2. Would help Wed nights @ my extension site church’s youth group and became suddenly aware #AgainGraciasHolySpirit how when those middle/high schoolers would become adults their thought of “ church “ would be developed through this ecclesial environment. Again, something about that didn’t sit well with me… perhaps feeling a pre-conceived loss of some kind ? And a form of miscarriage, in a sense #CheapGrace 🥺🥺
D. Had a really rupturing moment occur one Sunday afternoon where my mind came crashing down and all I could resort to was repeatedly reciting The Lord’s Prayer 🙏 Solidified, to me, the significance of that catechism shaping as a non-negotiable. #TheMemoryOfTheHeart #MadeKnownInHardship

The process of muscle building involves placing a concentrated muscle group into a “ state of stress, “ which literally breaks down its fabrics/fibers to be rebuilt into something stronger. DOMS ( Delayed Onset Muscle Syndrome ), is when our muscles feel sore after working them, an indicator the training is working and our muscles’ memory is being re-wired. In the Ballroom/Latin Dance world ( though applies to the broader spectrum of the performing arts 🎭🎤 + sporting world, in general 🏀⚽️🎿⛸️ ) is the term “ muscle memory. “ Essentially, it’s principle is that one practices the repetition of something so intentionally that it becomes instinctual. The purpose draws on the reality that in times of pressure and crisis our minds/environments may “ get the best of us “ and thus, developing muscle memory is the body’s way of overriding that self-destruction in order to arrive into the place it’s destined to be. Anatomically, the Heart is the most vital of muscles - so what was discussed within this convo has me asking and answering, “ How are we training the muscle memory of our Hearts ?” #FuelForThought ⛽️🤍
